The Asthma and Allergy Center has been a part of your community since 1977. The Center was established in order to provide the diagnosis and treatment of asthma, allergic and non-allergic nasal symptoms, chronic sinusitis, food allergy, medication allergy, anaphylaxis, bee sting and other insect allergy, atopic dermatitis (eczema), urticaria (hives), angioedema (swelling), and other related allergic problems.
Our goals are to educate you about your condition and recommend effective treatment of your symptoms. In the case of asthma this will help to eliminate or reduce emergency care and hospitalizations, as well as the use of oral steroids. In the case of other allergic conditions including asthma, this will help to reduce or eliminate missed work or school days. In reaching our goals, your symptoms of asthma and other related allergic conditions should be minimized, leading to improved quality of life.
